Structured Cabling Cat5e

The standard cabling option is Cat5e (enhanced) which is easier to install and more cost effective.

Cat5e covers all the standard day to day needs of any office enviroment.

When installed each cable can be used for Telephone or computer by a simple patch at the cabinet.

Structured Cabling Cat6

A faster cabling system best used for Video conferencing and applications requiring high bandwith.

A slightly more expensive system but well worth installing if you intend to be in your new building or office over the next 5 - 10 years, again each cable can be used as a Telephone or computer by a simple patch at the cabinet.

Testing Cat5e & Cat6 

We can test each cable by a simple continuity test or Fluke test with a CD rom issued with the results.

Fibre Optic Cable

Fibre is mainly used for connecting cabinets on different floors known as backbones, this provides a very fast

link for data transfer, not very cost effective to use at desks because of the large expense incurred.

Fibre testing

We can provide testing with an OTDR tester and issue results.
